Conference Proceedings

All presented contributions will be published in the official proceedings, which will have an assigned ISBN number. The deadline for abstract submission is 15th March 2008. Once your submission has been refereed and accepted, if you wish your full paper to be published, please send it to papers@ictlconference.com by 5th April 2008. Alternatively, the abstract alone will be published. All participants will receive one CD copy of the proceedings upon registration.

Prizes

 

The ICTL is awarding two prizes for full papers presented.

The Best Paper Award

The Best Doctoral Paper Award

For your paper to be considered for one of these prizes, it must be submitted by the above paper deadline. To be eligible for the Best Doctoral Paper Award, a student must be listed as first author on the paper. If you are a doctoral student, please indicate this on your submission.

 

Edited Book

 

Appropriate full contributions will be considered for publication as chapters in a planned forthcoming edited book. We aim to publish this book through a reputable academic publisher.

 

Fees

 

The conference fee is 450 US dollars per person attending the conference. For registered full-time postgraduate and doctoral students, there is a reduced fee of 225 US dollars.

 

Doctoral students should scan and email official confirmation of their status to students@ictlconference.com by 15th February.

 

All fees are payable by 5th April 2008.

 

Once the schedule has been sent out to participants, no refunds will be given for cancellations/ no-shows, paper withdrawals etc.

If you would be willing to chair a session, please let us know.

 

Paper format

 

To facilitate editing and publication, papers will ideally be between 3-6,000 words, typed in Times New Roman 12 pt. font, and double-spaced. It is strongly recommended that authors follow the Harvard style in formatting and listing references.
